Hello,
My name is Heather and I am a 33 year old mother of 2, A 10 year old daughter Shania. She has made the honor roll several times at school. And a very active 5 year old son Kyle whom has just started Kindergarten and loves it. We have been breeding for about 9 years now. I have owned several huskies growing up. My Mother InLaw owns the 15 acres that we are on and she invited us to come and make our home here in Woodlake California. I was very excited as I am not a city girl as we moved from San Diego, I love the country and mountians and doing anything outdoors. I was happy to be able to raise our kids in a country lifestyle. As there are horses here, My daughter loves horses and so do I we love to be able to ride when we get a chance. There are goats and rabbit's and a bunch of cats around as well. ( They love to tease the Dogs ).
So I found it the perfect opportunity to start breeding huskies. We brought My husky Sasha with us from San Diego and then we adopted Scout our hybrid wolf in the mountians nearby. And then we just grew from there. We maintain about 12 huskies most of the time.The name Nakkittas Siberian huskies came from the very first Siberian Husky that I owned It is in Memory of her I only had her for about 2 years as our neighbors poisoned her.
I feel fortunate being able to have all our huskies and find it very rewarding being able to give another family joy and happiness in owning a husky. My children love watching a new litter being born and playing with them until they go to their new home's. Owning huskies is very time consuming and it takes a lot of money for their upkeep and keeping up on the the things they destroy but it also enables me to stay at home and raise our children and give our huskies the time that they do need.
We love going camping at least once a month during the hot summer months in our nearby Sequoia Mountains or at Bass lake a few hours away. We also love to bowl, Play cards ( Texas Hold Em with our friends ), go White water rafting and just about anything that lets us be outside enjoying nature and life. I myself love staying in shape and I love running the most so lucky for me my huskies love it too. |
